A very wet monsoon has brought plenty of greenery to the Grand Canyon. One of the canyons most difficult rapids, Hance Rapid, can be seen bottom center illuminated by the breaking sun. At full view, you can see a rafting group beached along the river to the bottom right who will navigate Hance the next day.
One of the most spectacular views along the Apache Trail which weaves through the Superstition Mountains. From here, you can see Four Peaks, Canyon Lake, First Water Canyon, and even parts of the Superstition ridge line (just out of frame). The skies were some of the most spectacular I have seen in this area, and the show just kept getting better and better.
